Qualifications/Requirements:
- DVM/VMD from AVMA accredited Veterinary School
- CA Veterinary License
- DEA License
- USDA Accrediated
- Clinic experience not required (New Graduates Encouraged)

Description:
Paws ‘n’ Claws Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The right person will share the hospital’s established mission of providing comprehensive, compassionate care to every patient.
With full diagnostic and surgical capabilities, Paws ‘n’ Claws offers complete preventative, medical, urgent and surgical care. We foster a collaborative work environment and look forward to mentoring and supporting the right candidate. Our team appreciates forward thinking so we are looking for a veterinarian that brings their own unique approach to veterinary care. Under general direction, the Associate Veterinarian will:
- Guide clients in proactive pet care
- Diagnosis and treat minor illnesses and injuries
- Manage chronic conditions and diseases
- Conduct surgical procedures
Candidates should also demonstrate:
- Empathy for patients and clients
- Ability to clearly communicate diagnosis and treatment plans to clients
- Effective communication with staff members
- Capacity to prioritize, multitask, and delegate
- Successful case management
Management reserves the right to revise the job description or require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, change in personnel, workload, or technical development).
Both full and part time positions are available. Schedule to be determined with the right candidate. The full-time salary can range between $120,000 – $225,000. Benefits will include medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and 401k.
Our hospital is located in beautiful Yorba Linda, California. Yorba Linda is a quiet city with a small town vibe. It is centrally located in Southern California, one hour south of LA and two hours north of San Diego. Other popular local destinations include Disneyland, Angel Stadium, Honda Center, Knott’s Berry Farm, Irvine Spectrum, Downtown Fullerton, beach cities (Huntington, Newport and Laguna) and much more.
